It sounds like a weird sort of backdoor religious movement, like they’re taking vows of chastity or something. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not being pushed by Conservatives themselves. Sure, go ahead and ignore Conservative men, they deserve it, but taking a vow of chastity is kind of weird.

The simple argument as to why this wouldn’t make conservatives happy is that they want as many babies as possible: preaching for big families, destroying contraception, abortion rights, etc. Birthrates were falling but the orphan-crushing machine requires new blood.

In that sense as weird as this 4B movement sound it’s most definitely a big middle finger to that all.

Yeah… definitely conservative men and “not political” or “moderate” men should be shunned.

But how do you tell who’s actually a good guy and who’s a secret shithead?

The 4B movement is explicitly transphobic. I’m all for punishing conservative men but the sudden popularity of this specific movement is suspicious to me.

lysistrata suggests that this won’t work; but then again we’re in strange times and i think that warrants throwing everything at the wall and going with whatever sticks.

The immediate problem I see is that the very people these women are protesting against are the same assholes who think women are property that they can take any time they want. How is this not going to increase the number of rapes already occurring?
