Should have waited for a blowout by the unused emergency door like everyone else
Clearly Boeing fault /s
Why did Boeing do this? /s
Passenger wanted to boing from a Boeing
So yeah, that lever that says “OPEN” in big, bold, red letters? Don’t pull that!
But it says open! You cant just not open it! It’s like putting a shiny red button in front of me and telling me to not push it.
A jolly, CANDY-like button!
Didn’t Douglas Adams write a bit around that in one of his books? It says, “Warning: Do not look into laser with remaining eyeball,” or something to that effect?
I think that joke’s been around for a while, but there is the Terry Pratchett line about how if you had a button with a sign next to it saying “pressing this button will end the world, do not touch,” the ink wouldn’t even have time to dry.
Jesus Christ. That’s how you go through life, isn’t it?
What grace, eh?
Wild week for air travel
He knew that he was willing to help in the case of an emergency, but needed to double check that he was able before the stewardess came around and asked.
Good thing he checked too, because it turns out that no, he would not have been able to assist in an emergency. Well, other than opening the door and promptly falling out.
I thought the plane is supposed to be missing screws, not the passengers.
These mental issues are becoming so prevalent that airlines might need to set up cages in aircraft to prevent physical disruption of flights
The plane will miss passengers when they fall out, good point.
In this case, it was the passenger that was missing some screws…
