Ah but you can harvest tiger blood while keeping the tiger alive. Winning.
The comment is a reference to The Wizard of Oz, where three characters are walking through the woods talking about their fear of “lions and tigers and bears, oh my!”
The important part of this story is that the deaths were due to Avian Influenza, and that it was possibly transmitted to them by their keepers.
