Well here’s a good idea for why yopu should not use Litecoin or the Litecoin Foundation wallet called Litewallet (Loaf wallet) or anyhthing Litecoin related in general.

I was shocked to find that suddenly all the transactions showed received and sent and funds in LTC were in the wallet and yet they all show as zero £0.00 which is not even possible any way as transactions have to transact with available funds?

So disputing it gets nowhere and they did try to help with providing a link to newborn mweb wallet their newer beta wallet but it’s the exact same result.

I just tried on a seperate wifi network not a mobile networjk same result everything syncs multiple times and shows zero value but but funds exist.

Now the support staff have gotten dismissive and a new rep has deliberately highjacked the conversation that was amicably progressing to defelect and basically state that they are not willing to tie their hands with my case?

Basically Litecoin Foundation have stolen my Litecoin (LTC) and are trying to say they aren’t going to assist further so basically they are saying I’ve stolen your monety and I don’t care in essence.

Does this sound like a safe network for anyone then to transact with…clearly not!

Attached an image to the post showing that the transactions are not upheld by the Litecoin Foundation on their blockchain which is effectively useless then for some as it seems to rob them.

    Reasons Monero is cool:

    • privacy-focused - it basically creates a bunch of “fake” transactions so it’s nigh impossible to track which one is legitimate
    • mining-resistant - mining is intentionally unprofitable, so there’s likely a lot less waste
    • variable block size - keeps transactions fast and transaction costs low (as in, a few cents), at least with current volume
    • very little speculation, so valuation seems to be pretty stable, at least for the past 2 years or so

Regardless, whatever you do, don’t use a custodial wallet, gen your own make secure backups of your keys. You can also make multiple keys, so if you lose one, you can just move your money to another.
