the fediverse has some side effects with regards to post timestamping. i’ve noticed i get old posts in the ‘new’ feed fairly regularly as remote instances rebroadcast stuff that might have failed. post edits seem to reset some of this timestamping also.
but its all pretty specific to whatever server app you employ (lemmy/'bins)

Back when Reddit was fun there was a very small sub called r/alot. It imagined that alot was a mythical beast and whatever word came before alot in the sentence was an adjective describing it. The guy who created the sub would then draw a new “alot beast” for every post. I miss old Reddit sometimes.
