    worship me or burn

just to say, I was close with a person who happened to be an antioch orthodox bishop who explained that their faith goes only on what jesus said before people took over and made a bunch of stuff up.

he explained I didnt have to believe, there is no hell, jesus loves me and when I die ill know jesus and be with my deceased loved ones in heaven no matter what I do.

    so I was like: cool

This is what I can get behind. Why would a God being care if we worshipped him or not? If anything, as long as you’re a good person and try to do good, I believe they’d be like, “Cool, come on in.” I’d like to believe thar folks who are just evil and hurt others would just die. There’d be nothing after for them except emptiness and lack of all feelings.

I’m an Atheist, but feel I have a better chance to sit and talk with “God” and get into the kingdom than someone who is a Christian and spews hate.

on one hand if you take the character of jesus as an individual with opinions he was very based

but on the other hand in the context of the bible - he is the incarnation-ish-thingy of the one who created and perpetuates a binary system of good and evil, and as a narcissistic judge, jury, and executioner to him being “good” includes in major part worshipping him and only him. which is not very based

so i pick hell out of spite

The Bible hits very different without commentary. Jesus is even more relevant, and more based, when you read it assuming he wasn’t magic

Like when he hid wine in water barrels to keep the party going. Or when he convinced everyone to pool their lunches together to feed everyone. Or when his friend pretended to die and he facepalmed and was like “no he didn’t… Go get the idiot out”
