well linux is a extremely general component, and there are many linux based OS’s for different applications.
Ubuntu might be user friendly on server(not sure) but on desktop is pretty trash for example (no flatpak, bad support for newer hardware).
you need to pick an OS that is user friendly for your usecase, there is no way to have one single OS to fit all possible needs. doesn’t matter what kernel it is based on.
