We now know that the data collection in modern cars is out of control -- The question is, how does that data even leave your car? And what, if anything, can you do to stop it?
I like Aptera and have a couple of them pre-ordered but that’s nothing but a promise. They have plans to IPO. Zero chance their consumer-friendly approach survives that for very long.
Sadly it seems our best bet would be to build it ourselves.
I’m imagining cars like Framework laptops and you can install an open source OS of your own to operate it.
