Is there a reason why? Less funding? Web devs don’t make the pages Firefox friendly? Since the user base is smaller, they just don’t care?

Woah such a scathing retort.
Perhaps consider the accessibility angle why it’s a bad idea only catering to one browser and that your team/company should do better than that.
It was humorous. I try to take stuff lightly.
Its not a bad idea. Nobody uses Firefox. We tested and there is no reason for us to start putting in the effort.
well thanks to companies like yours, its not surprising that the trend is going downwards. Pfft who needs a vendor free Web after all, eh? Everything’s Google now, yay!
Trend is down, somebody just wrote it’s up 🤣.
Look, I don’t care. I don’t. I use what works and I develop for what works. Then I go home and spend time with my family.
I have no interest of progressing any agenda for anyone. If mozzila what’s to be a player, they should address the reasons why no one is using their browser. That for sure ain’t me.
except you and your company do and you are being ignorant of that.
but hey, as long as it puts the meal on the table…
Not ignorat at all. Very conscious about it all. I very consciously don’t want to use a browser that breaks some websites and apps.
it seems we are going in circles.
You are willingly and consciously accepting the Web to be dominated by the biggest “do evil” ad firm called Google, do I get this right?
You are going in circles, making a strawman for me. Chill. I’m not a soldier for any software. Use whatever you like. I dont care. I shared my experience with Firefox. I’m sorry it’s different than yours, but it is what it is and no attacks on me and fallacies you what to string on are going to change it.
It seemed like people were interested, so I answered all the questions, even those that were offensive and rude and many were (very nice “community” ). I think this is the end. Bye.
Were you alive during the time when IE was only supported? We don’t want to go back to a time like that. We should always learn from the past.
You come off completely ignorant of history. Gets really defensive during conversations. And it seems you have no problem name calling and age shaming folks? What a treat to work with, I’m sure.
Look I understand you are offended. I didn’t mean to offend you. But I’m not calling anyone names I’m defensive because this has been an all out attack on me! But I didn’t take it personally, this is my opinion, it’s clear that many share it otherwise not so many websites would be broken on Firefox.
I’m just calling it like it is.
Really nice deflection. I have news for you. It’s not about you and certainly not about being offended. It’s about building a better internet and not repeating past mistakes.
Huh
You think you’ve enlightened a bunch of people on a heavy Linux user community about Chrome’s dominance? Sir, we are aware. It was the rudeness and ignorance people are responding to.
Omg grow up. It was a joke. Relax dude. Chill. People get worked up about the stupidest things.
I shared my experience and all I got was relentless attacks that I tried to answer and attacks everywhere.
I’m not a soldier, I use what works and develop for what works. I don’t give a shit about you or your community. Especially if this here is the community. A bunch of humorless assholes with no self reflection and no sense of self irony.
Well not all. Some were pretty cool. You not. Bye.
You made a comment on a platform with a bunch of grey beards. Got a response you didn’t like and said “Ok boomer”.
Actions have consequences, little child.
Little child? Don’t be pathetic. This is not a fight. We are not competing. I shared my experience. You know how bizzare and absurd it is for people to attack you and try to convince you, that your experience is somehow wrong. It doesn’t make any sense. And then someone joins in and thinks they will insult you by calling you a little child. Absurd. Not worth my time. Bye.
Ok boomer
