I have hade issues posting on lemmy threads. Both commaenta and a normal post. Is this because I use a VPN?

Example: I have successfully replied to a comment in the “gaming” section of Lemmy (once). A while later I wanted to post a thread, or comment, but simply can’t because ‘a problem occurred’ or something similar.
