Dear friends and compassionate souls,
I have previously shared my story in this community, and many generous souls responded with compassion. But today, I return to you in the darkest and most dangerous days of our lives.
My name is Ahmed Osama, and I am from Gaza, Palestine.
In October 2023, I lost my beloved wife and our three beautiful children in a bombing that destroyed our home. Only my youngest son, Muhammad, survived, badly injured, but still holding on. He has undergone four surgeries, and while he is now in a more stable condition, the pain he and I carry is beyond words.
Before the war, I worked as an English translator. I had a peaceful life with my family, full of love and dreams for the future. That life is now gone. I lost my job, our home was reduced to rubble, and I now live with my elderly parents, both chronically ill, my two sisters, my brother, and my son Muhammad. I am the sole provider for all of them, with no income. Today, the situation in Gaza is beyond catastrophic. We are not living, we are merely trying to stay alive. Bombings are relentless. Starvation has reached its peak. People are collapsing in the streets from hunger. Prices are outrageously high, and food and water are nearly impossible to find. The so-called “humanitarian aid” corridors have become death traps, those who attempt to reach them are often killed or injured.
We are surrounded by destruction, grief, and despair.
And yet, I still turn to you with a humble plea: Please, if you can, offer any support, no matter how small. It could help us survive this nightmare and give Muhammad a future he deserves. You can offer support through my donation link 🙏💔
