I’ll be voting this upcoming election l, as I do recognize the importance of local elections. However I don’t see how voting for either Biden or Trump outside of a swing state could have any impact. Am I missing a critical piece of info?
I would think the best reason would be to use your energy to communicate to others who would otherwise not hear the message before the vote, all Summer and Fall. Who knows what influence it might have but it won’t hurt and it might help.
You vote to make sure your state doesn’t become a swing state or red state because suddenly you and many others thought it’s not needed to vote while all the MAGA will always vote. Vote to make sure it stays blue.
Your vote may not be likely to impact the presidential race, but there will be other items on the ballet that may be more in play.
