Not really tbh, I avoid them like a plague at this point. It no longer keeps me entertained anymore just like most things on mainstream social media.
A lil cute poyo poyo, who has an interest in FOSS Software and Privacy.
=UwU=

I would personally recommend Strawberry if anything since development of Clementine has been dead for a long while now, whilst it’s also of fork of Clementine too with frequent updates.
This is why Linux rules tbh, little to no rules what so ever in terms of customizing your desktop whilst also not having shit like this too like having so much bloat and constant ads, like telling you to install edge everytime whilst protecting your privacy too.
Duolingo became old cuz everyone forgot about them. Tragic ;-;
The fact that windows is now becoming Apple 2.0 is kinda crazy ngl lol, thought shouldn’t be surprising cuz every tech company is now doing enshittification at this point.
Nah even better! Linux from Scratch bruh >:3
Propertiary software esp iMessage and other apps I rely on atm, has kinda prevented me from moving to fully android. I have started to use Linux on my laptop permanently though.
Poverty. It’s honestly something I don’t wish upon my worst enemy and the fact I’ve seen so much shit due to it, it’s something I can never get back and now will have to endlessly live with the pain until the day I literally die.
Not allowing to go to the toilet whilst in your lessons and only during break/lunch time.
This was such an issue since needing a toilet is a natural thing and it’s not something we can control/control for very long and it’s very bad if we do so, yet teachers would literally send out detentions/warnings if we even attempted, which was so idiotic of itself.
A lot of folks would recommend Ubuntu as a start but it’s very bloated af so starting on Linux Mint or Zorin/Elementary OS (if you want a windows/macos experience in your distro) would be a great start imo
Yeah frrr tbh. Like their competitors offer more services in comparison and automatic encryption that doesn’t force you to use a password everytime you want to encrypt your mail etc.
Wouldn’t recommend mastodon.art imo
Heard the admins on there are very ban-ready on there and basically defederate anyone they consider “bad” despite not actually being problematic themselves.
The fucking irony lol, considering that Trumps political campaign was the direct link to the Cambridge Analytica scandal and Trump fucking enabled it, alongside having Russian interference in the election LOL
I understand banning something that’s basically super unhealthy and has direct links to cancer but at the same time, ppl have been smoking and consuming drugs/alcohol for centuries and by stopping ppl from doing it, it’s basically gonna encourage a new generation to try it.
If they’re gonna start banning things like this, then maybe they should also ban alcohol and talcum powder too since they also have links to cancer as well.
Things like this, ppl should be taught about the effects of drugs/cigarettes/alcohol in a safe environment, not just ban things cuz the law says otherwise. You can’t have a black/white approach to those things.
I agree it’s a complete scam tbh esp as you’re forced to pay for cloud backup as well. I was given the membership via friends, hence why I haven’t paid it so far, though have been guilty of buying games from them but what Nintendo is doing now is honestly inexcusable at this point, despite many other times they fucked up before and haven’t done shit to solve it. Instead, criminalising those for archiving their games.
Time to boycott Nintendo Online and Nintendo in general for doing so many Ls as of late
Well, time to delete my Wordpress account then. Gonna be a lot of content I gotta archive before then. ;-;
Now let’s eat the rich for cereal! >:3
With all the changes that Reddit has made recently esp with the API changes, it definitely did leave salt in my mouth alongside how increasing toxic the Reddit community had become in comparison to when I joined the community but the small niche communities that existed on Reddit did honestly made it harder to quit due to the lack of communities outside, which is another big problem with centralisation, esp in the modern internet as it makes you rely on platforms you may not necessarily like due to big issues like social isolation etc.
When I found out about this, this isn’t simply excusable anymore and I would rather delete my account over having my personal data being sold for profit (which goes completely against the early ethos of Reddit as a whole but being semi owned by Conde Nast, this would have been inevitable) despite the fact that I have been thinking about deleting my Reddit profile way before this issue.
Surprisingly, I honestly have had no regrets deleting Reddit out of my life and honestly I do wish I would have done it sooner, I’m far less frustrated, I’m starting to think more constructively again and I feel way way less dependent on it.
Can say, I made a good choice there tbh.
All hail Raymond Hill :0
