A few blocks from parliament in our nation’s capital there’s this ancient trashy brick shack with junk cars in the lot, surrounded by brand new apartment buildings. They’re holding out for a big payout I bet.

    That’s a nice looking house. I hope that it doesn’t get torn down. We can build density, and keep cool old houses like this. It’s not one or the other.

      The “for inquiries” sign suggests they want to sell. The fucked up cars (including one with four flat tires) suggests they want this eyesore to lower surrounding property value and further incentivize the sale. Also the house is visibly falling apart. I hope the owners get a decent price. I’m not criticizing. I just think it’s an interesting story in one picture, so I’m sharing.
