🥴💦
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I just checked your post history, it’s crazy how your posts are getting mass downvoted. Keep up the good work my man!
I mean, this person is on a personal quest to get everyone to block .ml , I can understand why they might be a bit agitated. Tankies aren’t known for their patience and open mindedness.

I mean… Who fucking cares?
It kind of affects all of us if people (barely) are manipulating the feeds in broad daylight.
The people who are too stupid or incompetent to fact check basic things.
Those without critical thinking skills
Hey you’re that person who steals crow pictures aren’t you?
Lmao all crossposted OC content from .ml comms is properly attributed to the Author/Photographer/Artist/User
New profile pic lmao
It actually is you madlad.

Nice jackdaw!
I’m not getting into this no sir.
Awww…
Uh, are you serious? Why? What did you even say?
Generally it’s because they have their hatred of .ml as the driving force of half their free time. It’s weird and off-putting.
Not sure about half their free time, but it does seem that anti-.ml sentiment is the reason, yes.
you know what’s off-putting? lemmy.ml
Good thing I’m not trying to put you on.
Hmmm prob a combination of:
- My calls for defederation of .ml
- My calls for boycotting of .ml comms
- My cross-posting of content from .ml comms to non-.ml comms to reduce their influence
- My constant collection of evidence of the .ml admins, mods and Tankie users
.world isn’t defederated from .ml? I thought it was, for some reason… Well, it is the admin instance so, I guess.
I wish lol, yea world did defederate with the rest of the triad, but .ml is generally left because
Its the dev instance and they run official Lemmy dev/support comms from there, they still have a few big comms and some of the only niche comms (both issues I aim to address through cross-posting) and they “keep the mask on” more and keep things subtle to avoid larger defed movements
Unfortunately, I’m getting to the point where I suspect a fork or alternate compatible platform may be needed (rather than just nice to have).
They are a famous fighter against the tankie triad, check the posts in !meanwhileonworld@thelemmy.club
Thanks!
Ml, hex… what’s the third suppose to be?
Lemmygrad
Oh, it’s been so long since the last time I saw something from that instance that I totally forgot them
Thanks
I highly recommend. russia is a state of insane.
I thought that was a nickname for .ml
It sort of is, I think the same people run it, but its also a seperate domain where they take the masks off.
It is just defederated everywhere, so most don’t see their posts anymore.
No, it’s just new instances to easily create accounts in (why would those three be new when they’re literally older than .world?)
Is it to like muddy the waters? I can make 500 accounts on my instance if I wanted to?
mass downvotes mean so little on a site where posts get at most 13 comments
And deleted in a couple days.
lol
furthermore: lmao
It will never not be funny to me that some people are so chronically online they think everyone else gives as much of a fuck about made up internet points as they do, and more, will go to such an extraordinary effort on a site which doesn’t have cumulative karma like reddit did. which they are either too stupid to realize or too angry to care. these guys not only need to touch grass, they need to go disappear into the woods and become one with nature for a few weeks.
lastly, ow, fuck, my sides!
Upvotes and downvotes are made up internet points that decide sorting in the feeds.
It might not mean much if your opinion is popular or unpopular but when some individual loser wants to make you unseen that feels like a problem.
oh yeah, I’ll bet OP feels very unseen right now, with their nearly 500 net upvotes and ~70 comments on this post.
Point being, said loser has failed miserably to do anything other than make themselves look more like a loser.
Since your instance or app doesnt show downvotes, it currently has 627 upvotes and 77 Downvotes. When I first came across it they had 250 to 55.
But if you checked his context link you would see that they literally made brand new instances just to downvote this man for collecting evidence on their shittiness.
Well all of them shut down yesterday AND one of them, started a new instance in its place. already defederated, but curious…
ITT severe kamalacaust/lib cope.
Is there any actual evidence of downvotes?
So, you’re going to just declare the admins of multiple instances just lying about things then?

https://jenny.nya.pub/
https://fun.with.kyun.li/All came online within the day it happened and all are now offline now that they’ve been widely defederated from and useless. With notable mentions to downvote troll accounts @FourGreenFields@feddit.org and @TheDregg@lemmy.world who were also banned
People saying “yes there’s proof” but aren’t giving any. Weird…
yes
I’m new here and still grasping the way the fediverse works.
Is this basically saying 3 user accounts were made for the mass downvoting or what’s happening?
What do people said, but since you’re new, here’s a recap post on what the whole Tankie situation is about (if you didn’t encounter them on Reddit lol
That “recap post” from you looks alot more like you attacking tankies than vice versa.
Collects and documents a (long) list of evidence of their harmful pro-Russia/pro-NK/pro-CCP propaganda pushing and censorship

Servers, not users. Though each server would have users.
Although I don’t think they’re bots like the post is implying. OP just spends a lot of time annoying them.
Little bit more.
Someone made 3 servers, then a bunch of accounts on those servers, then used all of those accounts to downvote.
Allegedly because I ain’t got the time to manually verify that myself.
Allegedly because I ain’t got the time to manually verify that myself.
Crucial footnote.
Thanks for the elaborating.
Instances are more like servers or domains. Your instance is lemmy.world. We can see votes from individual users because in order for votes to federate across instances, (like if you, on lemmy.world, were to vote on my instance, lemmy.dbzer0) they must be public. So anyone with the know-how can inspect who has voted on posts, and how they have voted.
Someone spun up three entire instances and mass created dozens of accounts on each, just to mass downvote. It’s just blatant vote manipulation, and is why the admin stepped in to defederate (stop sending info back and forth) from the rogue instances.

So where can we see this?
I’m banned from 1 of 3…
… so far.
Rookie numbers.
Try harder, bud.
I’ve just had .ml blocked for a long time and life’s been good. I would prefer defederation. If put democratically, I’m sure that’s what would be voted for as well.
Yeah me too. There’s very little value to justify keeping them in my feeds. As soon as there is a decent alternative to lemmy I’m leaving.
They should know better, you obviously have a good keyboard and lots of free time. I wouldn’t mess with you and I’ve been boxing for 20 years.
Lol you shouldn’t pick online fights with people who WFH in IT 😂
Man never give that up. I left a WFH job in IT that I wasn’t really happy with, but it was fine. Left to a company where everything was better on paper. Now I work 50 hour weeks on average as salary, and don’t have time to even use my benefits that actively are better.
Never give it up. Neverrrrrrrr.
You could just leave and find another job again?
I’m looking for a job in a different industry entirely!
Maybe look inti teaching programming. It doesn’t pay as much, but it’s very rewarding. Doesn’t have to be with a university or something. For example, I teach springboot at a private institute. We have bootcamps, but also full, accreditted bachelors. I get to talk about talk about programming a lot, share my knowledge, expand my knowledge, give fun extracurricular talks every once in a while, write new coursework, write fun exercises. Maybe there’s something like that near you
You programming guys are way smarter than me. Tech writing wouldn’t be a bad pivot, but I’m a little worried companies will think genAI will do that work just as well as a writer. I’m actually looking at a pivot to HR, since I like the kind of people focused work and market research stuff they do.
I appreciate your thoughtfulness though. It’s very kind of you to take time out and try to assist a stranger. 🙂
