When I saw someone comment something like “That is an aggressively country child.” I laughed so hard lol

We reference this all the time now. It’s a permanent memory artifact. XD

LOL, indeed. I grew up in Oklahoma so I recognize that twang. :P I worked for years to get rid of my southern accent.

Haha I have folks there! Lived there for a bit too! Between Okie and Cali, I think now I subconsciously adjust my twang to adapt to my surroundings. 😂

Heh, I do to a little bit, but starting in high school I was just actively correcting my twang hard until I just had like a generic American accent. Somehow from that effort I’ve picked up localisms from all over the US (I have moved a lot, but that was years later), like I use ‘soda’ instead of ‘coke’. Nowadays you’d never be able to tell unless I was drunk as shit, which I don’t do more than once every few years at best, cause even without the accent I don’t talk like an Okie anymore.

This was like 15 years ago, but there was a video by Videogamedunky on YouTube where he prank called places.

I was laughing so hard in my bed at night that I was genuinely wondering if I’d gone crazy.

Not sure why I found it so funny at the time. Maybe I was a bit tired too.

I thought everything in this show was scripted. No, the “numbers prove God is everywhere” guy, “Jews killed Jesus” woman, and Captain Sexual Harassment are all real people. It’s so on-the-nose I thought they were all doing a bit.

Season 2 of The Rehearsal is already my favorite Nathan Fielder project. S02E03 is totally unhinged

When I was in middle school I was reading a passage of some workbook in Sunday school and it said something with the word “papi” describing how different cultures call their fathers, I guess in relation to how God is our father in heaven. Anyways when I read “papi”, I paused for a second, and absolutely lost it. I never laughed at anything so hard in my life.

Just the idea of calling God “papi” is absolutely absurd.

Was watching a laughably bad horror movie with a friend at the theatre which caused both of us to have a shared laughing fit that lasted hours! During the movie we couldn’t stop giggling and people were looking at us, and both of us kept making jokes to eachother about the movie which just made it so much worse. Friend stayed at my place for a while and we were still laughing. I’m pretty sure onlookers thought we were on drugs or something.

When I got home we decided to play Mario Kart but we kept making jokes about the movie and were laughing so hard that we couldn’t properly race and we just kept crashing into each other 😂

For fun I’m not going to name the movie but I’ll give a couple hints! Very cliched scenes, silly jumpscares, and unintentionally funny scenes that were made even funnier by my friend making jokes about them. My sides killed me for days 😭

I was sitting in a hanging chair, talking to my partner. When they made a stupid, small joke, I giggled a bit. The hanging chair made a squeaking noise on that small giggling motion, which made me chuckle, which caused a stronger squeaking, and just like that, I was in a self enforcing spiral of laughing and squeaking. I couldn’t stop myself, and ultimately my partner had to get me out of that chair because I had no control left from laughing so much :D

    The book of Mormon.

I’m gonna say if anyone has an inkling they want to see it, DO IT. It’s insanely funny. Scroll past my comment and don’t spoil it for yourself.

For those of you who don’t plan to see it, it’s about Mormon missionaries that end up in Uganda. The beginning is very tame, and then they whip out this number. I felt like I might die due to lack of air from laughing so hard.

Oh wow. You are right, I found that it is an actually actress in the Conan video. Strange that they would pretend like this without adding some note. I cannot find that she sued the show.

The woman is OK but she did get injured so I will remove that as it is insensitive given that context.

My beagle was running around the yard and his big ol ears were flapping around. My goldendoodle just sat there while the beagle ran circles around her as fast as he could.

One time I was out walking and as I turned a corner a pug was running at me full speed, which is a sight to behold - every part of their face and body seems to be moving in a different direction at once. I was still doubled over laughing when the owner walked past me and she gave me a dirty look lol.

There are 2 types of pug owners:

        • My precious baby is perfect and can do no wrong.

        • You’re lucky I love you you ugly little shit.

The “José” episode of More Kitboga where he, as FTC Frank, pretends to be Jennifer Lopez. He wasn’t even on the line with José, but his impression of FTC Frank doing a Jennifer Lopez voice legitimately brought me to tears.

Maybe someone will enjoy this as much as I did but this news story about a bear sighting… But I don’t want to say why. I want the nonsense to wash over you as it did me the first time I saw it.

I have another too, this tiny frog, fiercely squeaking it’s battle cry with all all it’s might. It never fails to remind me of how Nibbler on Futurama looked cute but was actually a powerful race of creatures.

Last week’s The Rehearsal episode where in order to understand Sully Sullenberger’s state of mind when safely landing his plane into the Hudson he uses his memoir as a guide to backtrack and rehearse his life and major experiences starting as an infant, and progresses through his childhood and early adulthood.

Here’s part 1/3 of the relevant section of the episode but quick warning, it’s pretty weird and shocking even for Nathan Fielder but goddamn that has to be the hardest I’ve laughed at a TV show since Nathan for You:
