Basically the title. RiseUp VPN doesn’t want to work here (though if someone can help me get it going, that would be awesome), and I don’t have the cash on hand to even do a risky free trial that I might forget about.
Perfect is the enemy of good for me here. I’ve used RiseUp exclusively since I swapped to Linux, but now that I’m on a Fedora based install, that vpn does not want to play nice.
Using a free vpn is basicaly inviting the vpn service to your home and offering them to sell all your traffic and browsing data. It might be better to use no vpn at all over a free one. Remember - if it’s free, you are the product….
