Its okay, unlike NATO platforms, there is no political censorship here that favours (neo)fascists. Being able to speak the NATO forbidden things here is amazing.
American healthcare, American transit, Mexican Gang, Nordic cost of living, British weather, Italian being too loud, and Kpop fans in general.
What has Hungary done against rule of law?
A lot. Hard to know where to start.
Here’s somewhere to begin at least:
References Euronews and the Atlantic. No bias here.
Google it yourself for other sources then, not hard to find info on the many anti democratic actions Hungary’s leader has taken or his rollbacks on human rights over the past decade. I don’t think even his supporters contest that, they just contest if it’s wrong to do or not.
If the first sources you go to include the fucking Atlantic for a European issue…
Do you disagree with something in particular or are you just letting us know that you had a bad day?
This makes a lot of sense. It’s impossible to make smart decisions when you’re Hungary. That’s why it’s good to go after a meal or at minimum have a snack before grocery shopping.
You’re not you when you’re hungry.
I guess many EU citizens would love to see Hungary be stripped from voting rights as well. Hungary is very veto happy.
The whole point of the EU is unanimous decision making.
… aka the perfect recipe for endless deadlock and foreign entities trying to exert influence by “swaying” one member’s opinion. Decisions made by a qualified majority (2/3, 3/4) would be much more appropriate for today’s EU.
Why did we put it there in the first place? Hungary and other dozen eastern eure countries.
Austria-Hungary was one of the 8 Nation Alliance western colonialist powers.
