Google appears to be working on adding “HD” and “HD+” icons to the Messages app, allowing you to choose photo resolution.

    Full. Full resolution. That’s the only option. And for fuck’s sake, let’s get apple on board with images and video, too.

      Having the option would be best. If you are trying to save on data or have a slow connection, a lower red image might be preferred.

      I’d prefer not. My phone camera makes 10mb photos. I don’t want to wait that long to send a quick photo, and storage needed to keep the conversation history can unnecessarily get out of hand.

      If i want ro share full res photos, I’ll use Google photos. For sending a quick snap, smaller is fine.
