That watch stands out so much, it looks photoshopped, or like one of those in-media purchasables.

As much as I hat fast food, some of it is actually decent in countries that have real rules about food quality.

I found a bit of their plastic food safety glove wrapped up with my sub. Tried to complain, but they wouldn’t accept that.

Does Subway sponsor them or something? I swear I’ve seen similar scenes in the last couple shows I’ve watched.

Subway has a huge ad presence in Korea and you’ll see a lot of shows where characters are eating it.

Korea has a huge ad presence in general. Shows will be derailed for a 3 minute ad break as the characters all coo about some product without breaking character. As an American, they’re the only country that I think has capitalism worse than us. And that’s saying something.

Oh, so you haven’t watched any Turkish TV yet? Every drama show must at least be a 2h episode, gives you not only an insane amount of commercial breaks but on top will randomly (in short intervals) inject an ad in the lower thirds. So even if any of these shows were to end up on the high seas, those ads are embedded. It’s so distracting, I cannot fathom how people put up with that.
