The Double Stacked Taco with a fire sauce packet is delicious. There’s nothing wrong with Taco Bell…on occasion…

An actual crunchwrap has never looked like that.

They need to remake “falling down” for millenials, but it’s at taco bell. Or maybe they don’t, I don’t know…

1am, taco bell is open. Guy orders a crunch wrap meal, and they have no problem making it. It’s exactly the same as it’s always been and the guy is happy. Cashier rings him up and it’s $20. He snaps.

I KNOW it’s not good, I KNOW my shtummy will hurt after, but I don’t remember ever trying taco bell in my life and I am so insanely curious about it. There are none nearby where I live and I don’t drive. It’s been ages that I’ve had this burning curiosity. I already decided that once I get to go I will be ordering a crunchwrap (idk the menu but this is the item I hear the most people talk about).

The crunch wrap is for taco bell fans who got tired of their tacos, don’t start there!

Get a soft shell, hard shell, and a crunch wrap and eat them in that order. You also have to get a mountain dew Baja blast as thats taco bells own flavor.

If you are pretty hungry thats all doable for sure! For like an average size meal I’d do one crunchwrap or three tacos.

They let you add on pretty much whatever too so I just pick the cheapest tacos and burritos and make them supreme myself. I get a bean and rice burrito, fresco (replaces dairy and meat with pico de gallo), add fries/potatoes inside, add jalapeños, and lettuce. Comes up to like 3.50 or 4.00 for it.

All the other fast food places prices around me make taco bell look like a fantastic deal, I’ll say that.

I can’t believe this. Are you Amish? Someone needs to make a documentary of taking you on a trip to Taco Bell. I would watch that. Hell Taco Bell would probably fund it for promotional purposes.

It would be like this generations Supersize Me. They could call it Grande Size Me.

Do all Taco Bell customers hate themselves? I have never enjoyed the food from there and after eating it I have almost always done my best imitation of a geyser. It’s not even good fake texmex.

I just want to know what you people are doing to your fast food over in America that is giving people diarrhoea so reliably. Every time I hear people from the US talk about places like Taco Bell, someone inevitably mentions its catastrophic effect on their stomach.

Why is that accepted as normal?!

We have Taco Bell in the UK too and it’s… fine? I eat out or order food at least once a week and I could count on one hand the number of times I’ve EVER had food poisoning, but apparently over in America it’s basically guaranteed?? What in the absolute fuck is going on over there?

For what it’s worth, American food protection regulations are pretty flimsy compared to ours. IIRC they have a 10-fold incidence rate of food poisoning compared to us.

Taco Bell came to New Zealand just a few years ago and I haven’t tried it because of it’s American reputation, but I’m not really sure why that’s stopped me. If the consequences for eating it are as bad as people say, the whole franchise around NZ would have been shuttered already for food safety violations.

That’s been my assumption when people talk about stomach pain and diarrhea from Taco Bell, Chipotle, Qdoba, etc. I eat plenty of Mexican food at good and bad places and have never had any issues like that. But I also eat a decent amount of beans normally.

The Veggie Craving menu is the only reason I buy Taco Bell. I don’t know of any other fast food with a menu like that.

Subway’s veggie patties are really good, but not every location has them. They’re really good because they don’t even try to make them taste like meat. I’m not sure if any of their breads are vegan though.

I don’t know why people feel the need to brag about how they don’t eat popular chain food, or about how it’s bad for you.

Posting on social media isn’t good for you, but you’d be the first person screaming “b-but the Fediverse and Linux reeee!” if someone were to call you out on it.

Let people enjoy what they want to enjoy.

The spicy potato tacos are my sleeper taco bell hit.

I did recently have the Baja blast gelato and it was super disappointing - basically a diluted slushie that’s frozen, no gelato/sorbet texture at all.

There are certain restaurants that everyone says are absolute trash, and yet they stay open.

My wife and I call them Shitty Tacos, and sometimes we say things like “would you like some Shitty Tacos tonight?”. The answer is often “yes”. Especially if we can’t decide on anything else.

The CCB is a franchisee optional item, they vary wildly in availability as a result.

For example, they’ve been available in every Colorado location I’ve been to

Wow only three in California. Never had one I don’t think.

I do miss the encharito. Which went away and came back and went away and came back again. Every time it comes back it is shittier than it was before :( But I miss it. Is there a map of where those are available?

No chillitos in all of New England either, gotta go to NYC for the closest, then Ohio or NC.

I was in Cadillac MI last summer, regrettably ate at a Taco Bell, and didn’t even know I could have gotten one! It was the first run to the border I’d made in years too!

Sat up all night in a wind storm with cramps afterwards. 0/10
